MIC Injections

mic-injections

Methionine Inositol Choline (MIC) injections, also known as Lipotropic Injections (Lipo-C / Lipo-B), can be used in weight loss management. MIC targets the primary fatty deposits of the body and helps to release the build up. Lipotropic has many fat burning substances. It is composed of inositol, which helps to remove fat build up in the liver, while choline helps to disperse cholesterol to prevent it from accumulating on one part of the body. When methionine is added to the mix, the fat burning process is amplified. In addition, when coupled with vitamin B-12 the metabolic process gains a boost while also supplying an overall feeling of additional energy.

How do MIC Injections Work?

When MIC injections are injected into the body, amino acids are released which directs the liver to increase its metabolic processes.  This in turn causes an increase in a feeling of overall energy levels. As the amino acids burn off through the process, many will feel a noticeable increase in energy levels as the body gradually returns to a normal metabolic rate.

When coupled with a low-calorie diet and regular exercise, MIC injections can help rid the body of fat while simultaneously increasing energy levels.

What are Methionine Inositol Choline (MIC) injections made from?

Methionine

The “M” in MIC Injection, represents a series of essential amino acids whose role is to assist in the breakdown of fats within the liver while also helping to lower cholesterol levels. Naturally, the body typically gains methionine by consuming food such as cheese, eggs, fish, meat, spinach, potatoes, Brazilian nuts, and sesame seeds, but if high concentrations are wanted, with a more targeted approach, supplementation is needed.

Other reported benefits of methionine include:

  • Reduction in risk of liver disease
  • Improved skin tone and elasticity
  • Stronger hair and nails
  • Improved cardiovascular and muscular functions.

Inositol

The “I” in MIC Injection, stands for inositol which creates signals and serves as a messenger between molecules. Typically, inositol is consumed through foods such as nuts, beans, grains, melons, and oranges. Those with low levels of inositol are more prone to high cholesterol, hair loss, vision problems, constipation, depression, panic attacks, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and fatty liver.

Inositol helps to:

  • Strengthen the structure of cells
  • Improve the communication between nerve synapses
  • Helps with the metabolism of fat
  • Helps reduce blood cholesterol
  • Helps to reduce appetite
  • Helps to improve mood

Choline

The “C” in MIC Injection, stands for choline. Choline is an essential nutrient that helps to transport and remove waste products from the liver. This in turn helps to reduce fats and cholesterol levels.  When fats and cholesterol levels are low, people are less prone to issues with their endocrine, cardiac and hepatic systems. Choline is typically consumed through foods such as peanuts, soybeans, wheat, chicken, fish, beef, cauliflower, eggs, and lettuce, but its concentration can be boosted through injections.

 Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B-12)

Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B-12.  Its primary role is to help the replication process of DNA, improve nervous system function and form blood cells. Typically, B-12 is found in foods such as fish, shellfish, meat, eggs, and dairy products.

Key benefits of B-12 include:

  • Increased energy
  • Increased metabolism
  • Promotes usage of stored fat
  • Helps to detox the body
  • Help to increase red blood cell production
  • Promotes a healthy liver
  • Promotes a healthier sleep
  • Reduces appetite
  • Increases mood
